He noted the Colorado Municipal League's staff attorney has been appointed to sit on many of these committees. He offered his service to the City and to the City Attorney. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1636, Series 2013, and noted this is the first reading of the ordinance. Mayor Muckle explained this is an ordinance to refinance existing water bonds and will save the City a substantial amount of money. MOTION: Mayor Muckle moved to approve Ordinance No. 1636, Series 2013 on first reading, ordered it published and set a public hearing for August 6, 2013, seconded by Council member Jasiak.
