<br /> <br />City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4533 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br /> <br />City Council <br />Business Retention & <br />Development Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />July 1, 2013 <br />Library Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER –The meeting was called to order at 8:00 AM in the 1st Floor Meeting room at <br />the Louisville Library, 951 Spruce Street, Louisville, Colorado <br /> <br />ROLL CALL – The following members were present: <br /> <br />Committee Members: Ron Sackett, City Council (Chair); Rob Lathrop, Revitalization <br />Commission(Vice-Chair); Hank Dalton, City Council; Michael Menaker, Alternate Revitalization <br />Commission; Emily Jasiak, City Council; Shelley Angell, Chamber of Commerce; <br /> <br />Staff Present: Aaron DeJong, Economic Development Manager; Malcolm Fleming, City <br />Manager; Troy Russ, Planning Director, Gavin McMillan, Planner III and Dawn Burgess, <br />Executive Assistant to the City Manager. <br /> <br />Others Present: Susan Loo, Mike Kranzdorf, David Sinkey <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Agenda approved as presented. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES – The minutes of the May, 2013 meeting were approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA: Michael Menaker praised the Food <br />Truck in the Park initiative to advertise the Downtown restaurants during the Movies in the Park <br />event. Others agreed that the advertisement is very well done. Rob Lathrop commented at how <br />clean Community Park is the morning after the event. <br /> <br />Early Results of the ULI Technical Assistance panel: <br />The Urban Land Institute Technical Assistance panel (ULI TAP) completed their public <br />meetings and interviews. Though the formal report is being prepared, Aaron DeJong <br />presented the ULI TAP overview of the findings.
