He moved to approve the agenda, as amended. Council member Keany seconded the motion. All were in favor. Absent: Council member Yarnell. A. Approval of Bills B. Award Bid for Coal Creek Golf Course Bunker Renovation Project. C. Approve Resolution No. 43, Series 2013 — A Resolution approving an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder for the Conduct and Administration of the 2013 Coordinated Election to be held November 5, 2013 D. Authorize Execution of Engagement Letter for Auditing Services with Eide Bailly, LLC COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Council member Loo reported the Friends of the Arboretum will have their annual fund raiser at Gravity Brewery on September 16th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mayor Muckle reported on the scheduled activities for the annual Labor Day festivities and encouraged everyone to come and participate. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT City Manager Fleming introduced the City's new Information Technology Director Chris Neves, who was selected from over 100 applicants. He will be busy implementing the City's Strategic Plan, which will serve Louisville residents, the City Council and make staff's work easier and more effective. REGULAR BUSINESS APPROVAL OF THE AUGUST 6, 2013 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES Mayor Muckle requested page 6 of the August 6, 2013 City Council minutes, regarding Backyard Hens, be corrected: COUNCIL DIRECTION: "There was Council support for staff to bring forward an ordinance allowing backyard hens."
