Resolution No. 60, Series 2007 - A Resolution Approving a <br />Grant of A Temiporary Construction Easement to the County of <br />Boulder for State Highway 170 Shoulder Improvements <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA <br />Seth Sovak, 824 Lee Street, Louisville, CO reported on an incident, which <br />occurred on September 1 at Community Park. He stated a chain was wrapped <br />around his motorcycle and he was injured when he drove off. He noted the <br />parking was impacted by the events of the Labor Day weekend, and a <br />homeowner took matters into his own hands. He wanted to bring this to the <br />Council's attention. <br />COUNCIL INFORMATIONAL COMMENTS ON PERTINENT ITEMS NOT ON <br />THE AGENDA <br />Council Member Marsella introduced Phoebe Szeton, a member of the Youth <br />Advisory Board, who will be attending City Council meetings. <br />Council Member Muckle remiinded the residents on Election Day, Tuesday, <br />November 6, they may drop their mail ballots off at the Boulder County Clerk & <br />Recorders office until 4:30 p.rn. and the Steinbaugh Pavilion until 7:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Brown announced the Shop Louisville Campaign was launched <br />today and the business community is very motivated. He also addressed Mr. <br />Sovak's unfortunate issue and noted there will be certain holidays celebrated at <br />Community Park when parking will impact the neighborhoods. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />City Manager Fleming reported on the following items: <br />A meeting with BBC Consultants and other municipalities, where joint <br />revenue sharing was discussed. <br />He requested the NovE~mber 13, 2007 Study Session be cancelled. <br />He reported the U.S. IVlayors Organization would like to focus attention on <br />Louisville, Colorado. City Manager Fleming will conduct a teleconference <br />with the group on Thursday, November 8 and invited Council to attend. <br />Parks and Recreation Director Robson reported the City of Louisville, the Town <br />of Superior and EPA will sponsor a Recycling Workshop entitled "Pay as You <br />Go" on Thursday, November 15, 2007 The workshop will be held at the <br />Louisville Recreation Center from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. <br />
