City Council Meeting Minutes December 4, 2007 Page 3 of 10 REGULAR BUSINESS ELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEM Councilor Dalton nominated Councilor Marsella for the position of Mayor Pro Tem. There were no other nominations. The nominations were closed. All members were in favor of the nomination. Councilor Marsella was appointed Mayor Pro Tem fora 2-year term, which will expire upon the next City Council regular City elections in 2009„ CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENT TO LOUISVILLE REVITALIZATION COMMISSION The Louisville Revitalization Commission consists of seven Commissioners with staggered, five-year terms. P'er the Urban Renewal state statute, a maximum of one elected official may be appointed to the Authority. Additionally, the Cooperation Agreement between the Louisville Revitalization Commission and the City Council requires one member of the City Council be appointed to the Louisville Revitalization Comrnission. Mayor Sisk was appointed in March of 2004 for a staggered 4-year term expiring January of 2008 and he has expressed his desire to be reappointed. MOTION: Councilor Muckle nominated Mayor Sisk to a 5-year term to the Louisville Revitalization Comrnission, seconded by Councilor Sackett. Mayor Sisk recused himself from the vote: and left the Council Chambers. VOTE: All in favor. Recused -Mayor Sisk. Mayor Sisk was appointed to the Louisville Revitalization Comrnission. Mayor Sisk returned to the m~seting and noted he will tender his resignation to the Louisville Revitalization Comrnission upon the end of his four-year term as Mayor. RESOLUTION No. 65, SERIES 2007 - A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT FOR CENTENNIAL VALLEY PROPERTIES VII, LLC Becky Hogan, EDge Consulting, 52 Steele Street, Denver presented the Business Assistance Package for Centennial Valley Properties VIII, LLC. She introduced Koebel & Company representatives Scott Yates and Jeff Sheets.
