PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA Doug Grinbergs, 530 W. Sycamore Circle, Louisville, CO reported seeing a hybrid Dash bus traveling in Louisville. He noted hybrid buses are much quieter and cleaner and he hoped to see more of them in the future. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1527, Series 2007. Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested a Staff presentation Assistant City Manager Balser reported the City is currently operating on a 6- month extension of the previous 2-year extension approved in 2005. The current agreement expires at the end of this calendar year. Since 2005 the City and County of Denver has renewed its franchise and a number of provisions in that franchise are present in the Louisville franchise. The highlights of the franchise include the following: • The term of the franchise is for 20 years, effective January 1, 2008. • The franchise fee is 3°~0 of all gross revenues.
