Once completed this pro- <br /> gram will result in better access to data maintained by the Ci- <br /> ty in addition to dollar savings for records storage and increased <br /> security. <br /> tr/ City 7% <br /> Fire <br /> District <br /> 5% <br /> Boulder School <br /> The Finance Department was actively involved in ac- County District <br /> complishing City Council's goals for 1986. The goals direct- <br /> ly addressed by the Finance Department included establishing <br /> a sound financial plan and practices for the City. The Depart- 26% 61% <br /> ment developed a comprehensive manual which delineates <br /> specific purchasing policies and procedures. This manual <br /> simplified the City's activities while providing more precise <br /> control over purchases to ensure the City gets what it pays <br /> for on a competitive basis. Urban <br /> The Council's goal of improving employee morale was Drainage <br /> specifically addressed by the Personnel Division of the Depart- 1% <br /> ment in three areas - recognition, compensation and indoc- <br /> trination. 1986 Property Tax Assessment <br /> • In addition to normal years of service awards, a new <br /> annual Outstanding Service Award was established.This award School District 68. 760 M ill s <br /> was presented to five employees for service during 1986.
