14 <br /> MUNICIPAL, <br /> COURT <br /> The year 1982 brought many new changes <br /> to the Louisville Municipal Court. Last year city ANNUAL COURT REPORT <br /> Council passed ordinances that allow our court to <br /> hear such cases as assault, shoplifting, theft and 1982/1981 COMPARISON <br /> 396 <br /> harrassment,instead of them being lost in the Boulder <br /> 684 <br /> 1981 1982 <br /> County Court system. By having such cases heard in <br /> the local court, the officers and citizens are not forced Traffic Offenses 458 <br /> to attend court in Boulder. Such local problems are Parking Violations 614 <br /> better dealt with on a local basis. Handicapped Parking <br /> 115 <br /> 165 <br /> Another session per month was added in 1983, to Other Municipal Code Violations 132 58 <br /> provide for trials by court and jury.
