Improvements to South Park <br /> Forestry, Cemetery, Senior Citizens, Public Aid, 2.Acquisition of a water truck for the Forestry <br /> Special Transportation, Library, Building & Plants, Division <br /> Recreation, and Historical Commission. In all of 3. Designated"Tree City U.S.A." for 1982 <br /> these divisions, each faces a continued demand 4. Improved city recreation programs <br /> increase for local services and leisure-time recreation 5. Community flower planting program <br /> opportunities for city residents. 6.Cemetery record update <br /> The Division of Recreation and Parks is constantly 7.Gold Leaf Award for tree program <br /> developing new recreational programs and upgrading 8.Tree and pest information file for city residents <br /> the parks. Ten acres are planned for park 9.South Boulder median planting <br /> development in 1983 for all Louisville residents to 10. Department computer inventory of all divisions <br /> enjoy. All neighborhood parks and open space are 11.Trimming cottonwood trees at Cottonwood Park <br /> constantly maintained and upgraded to accommodate 12.Community Forestry Plan update for 1982 <br /> patrons seeking exercise and family fun. 13.Arbor Day celebration at south Park <br /> The year 1982 was indeed one of growth and 14.Fourth of July celebration at Memory Square <br /> progress at Louisville Public Library! In addition to 15.City of Louisville clean up day <br /> the increasingly popular pre-school story hours, the 16. Increased senior citizen programs and travel <br /> library sponsored programs such as a seed workshop 17.Historical downtown survey with the Louisville <br /> with a master gardener; a talk by author Margaret Development Corporation and cataloging of <br /> Coel during Library Week; a Children's Literature artifacts <br /> class for adults; a Fall Books Review; and 18. Special library programs for children and adults <br /> presentations on dinosaurs and mammals of Colorado 19. Planning improvements for Community Building <br /> for children, complete with specimens. In the form of <br /> reference and reader's advisory services, personalized <br /> book lists, and inter-library loan, librarians <br /> endeavored to maintain personalized services to a <br /> growing, changing clientele.
