Four <br />regular training sessions were held during the year. A total of 101 sellers and servers <br />from licensed establishments attended the training sessions, with 78 from Louisville <br />businesses. The Police Department also provided special training for the Street Faire <br />servers and for the employees of Ralphie’s. <br />ACTION ITEMS <br />The Authority held ten regularly scheduled meetings in 2012. <br />In 2012, the Authority renewed 52 liquor licenses and granted local renewal approval for <br />two Medical Marijuana Centers. <br />The Authority approved two new Hotel and Restaurant liquor licenses in 2012. They <br />approved the transfer of one liquor license.In addition, forty-five Special Events <br />Permits were issued to nine non-profit organizations. The Authority considered other <br />changes to licenses as they occurred. The Authority continues to work with the <br />Downtown Business Association to provide for alcohol service on the downtown street <br />patios. <br />The breakdown for the 55 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br />follows: <br /> Hotel & Restaurant 34 <br />Beer & Wine 3 <br />3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 4 <br />Retail Liquor Store 6 <br />Tavern 6 <br />Club 2 <br />2 <br />4 <br />
