<br />ORDINANCE NO. 1117 <br />SERIES 1993 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5.08 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AND <br />CREATING A LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville believes <br />it is in the best interests of the City and its residents to create <br />a Local Licensing Authority, as authorized by state law, to perform <br />the functions required of such an authority by the state liquor and <br />beer codes. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 5.08.030 of the Louisville Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be deleted are <br />stricken through; words to be added appear in capital letters): <br /> <br />5.08.030 Classes of licenses. <br /> <br />For the purpose of regulating the sale of malt, <br />vinous, or spirituous liquor, the city council LOCAL <br />LICENSING AUTHORITY in its discretion, upon application <br />made to it in the prescribed form, may issue and grant to <br />the applicant a license to sell malt, vinous, and <br />spirituous liquors of the following classes, subject to <br />the provisions and restrictions of sale as to manner, <br />place, and license fee as provided by this chapter: <br /> <br />A. Retail Liquor Store License. A retail liquor store <br />license shall be issued to persons selling only <br />malt, vinous, AND spirituous liquors in sealed <br />containers, not to be consumed at the place where <br />sold. <br /> <br />B. Liquor-licensed Drugstore. A liquor-licensed <br />drugstore license shall be issued to persons <br />selling malt, vinous, and spirituous liquors in <br />sealed containers, not to be consumed at the place <br />where sold. <br /> <br />1 <br />
