Soup kitchen activity pushed to third Thursday in January. <br /> Event will be held at Community Table <br /> Long pants, tee shirt, hair tie require for volunteering <br />B. November <br /> I. Normal YAB November event is food drive <br /> All members were told to check Thanksgiving availability <br />Goal Setting <br />A. Dear Louisville Books <br />Board members agree that a price reduction to $5 is good choice <br /> Good way to sell books is through holiday special sale <br /> Possible place to sell books is LMS world culture night <br /> Flyers would be a good way to advertise <br /> Eliza Miller volunteers to make flyers, will bring to November meeting to finalize <br /> design and content <br />B. Ride and Drive with Care <br /> Trademarked initiative already exists and organizer sent Mandy an email <br /> Possible partnership may be in works but initiative from YAB now has to be <br /> made in tandem with already existing organization <br /> Mandy will forward email from organizer of original initiative to members <br />Other Boards and Commissions <br />Joi Wu sat in on the Planning Commission <br /> Heavy discussion surrounding possible opening of Black Diamond Gun Club in <br /> Louisville <br /> Residential chicken ownership also an important issue <br /> Both of these issues will be discussed at City Council October 17 meeting. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting <br />Continued goal setting discussion and update on volunteer projects for November <br />Eliza’s Flyer & Dear Louisville sales <br />Other board and committee meetings <br />Adjourn – The meeting was adjourned at 8:00. <br />
