This was extended for <br /> another ten years (through 2013) in 2002 and another ten years (through 2023 in 2012). <br /> Revenue from this tax is used exclusively for the acquisition, development and <br /> maintenance of open space, parks, trails, wildlife habitat, and wetlands preservation. <br /> The chart below summarizes the recommended C-I-P by presenting the total five-year <br /> costs of each recommended project and comparing them to the total five-year costs of <br /> the departmental requests. I recommend that all projects requested from the <br /> Conservation Trust — Open Space & Parks Fund be approved, plus I have reclassified <br /> the Parks Irrigation Upgrades project from the Capital Projects Fund. <br /> XI <br /> 13 <br />
