SUBJECT: APPROVE PUD EXTENSION <br /> DATE: JULY 2, 2013 PAGE 3 OF 3 <br /> Staff believes time extensions for both applications are appropriate and recommend <br /> approval of a three year extension of the expiration of both Final PUD plans. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> The proposed development for lots 1&2 and lot 12 Colorado Technological Center, <br /> Filing 2 includes a 104,800 square foot two-story flex office building (Lots 1 & 2) and a <br /> total of 77,850 square foot flex office buildings (Lot 12). This space could introduce new <br /> jobs and employees into the local economy. The requested extension will grant the <br /> developer additional time to complete the projects. Staff did not identify a negative <br /> fiscal impact to the City of Louisville associated with this request. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br /> Both applications were heard by the Planning Commission on June 13, 2013. After a <br /> brief presentation by staff and the applicant, the Commissioners voted unanimously to <br /> recommend approval of the requested extensions. The Commissioners did not have <br /> any questions for staff or the applicant. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends that City Council approve Resolution No. 33, Series 2013 and <br /> Resolution No. 34, Series 2013 <br /> ATTACHMENT(S): <br /> 1.
