He also noted the issue of enforceability of the ordinance.

There was further Council discussion relative to the Planning Commission's concerns
and the enforcement of the ordinance.

Sisk stated given Planning Director Wood's comments, he could support the ordinance.

Mayer suggested an amendment of a minimum 4-foot fence, and that a trailer and its
contents be under 16-foot.

Van Pelt stated that the intent is to keep trailers off City streets. She voiced her agreement
to an ordinance amendment that would reduce the length of trailers.

Davidson called for public comment.

Frosty Woolridge, 1458 Ford Place, Louisville, CO, concurred that all trailers should be
off City streets and thanked Council for addressing the problem.

Mayer asked that the ordinance provide that trailers may be parked on City streets for a
limited time for unloading purposes.

Davidson closed the public hearing.

MOTION: Davidson moved that Council approve Ordinance No. 1397, Series 2002,
with the following amendments: Section lB: "a trailer can not be parked in a front yard
for more than seven days"; and "a trailer parking on a side yard must be enclosed with a
privacy fence at least 4-feet but no higher than 6-feet in height"; Section 1 C, "the
provision of 16-feet in length be stricken", seconded by Sisk.

Brown offered a friendly amendment that the maximum amount of time trailer parking is
permitted on a City street would be 72 hours.

Davidson and Sisk accepted the friendly amendment.

Sisk offered a friendly amendment that the 72 hours be consecutive.

Davidson and Sisk accepted the amendment.

VOTE: Roll call vote was taken.
