Old Louisville Inn PUD: <br />Economic Development Director Aaron DeJong went over the Old <br />Louisville Inn (OLI) plan for expansion. OLI is in a floodplain. They are <br />seeking a variance to not have to raise the new floor two feet. <br />Commissioner Lathrop asked a question about additional parking and <br />DeJong replied that if the addition is less than 1000 sf, no additional <br />parking is required. <br />d. Draft 2014 LRC Budget: <br />$200,000 could be generated from TIF by November 2014. <br />Chair Becker asked what projects align with the criteria for use of funds? <br />Commissioner Menaker suggested banking the money, committing it to <br />the South Street Underpass or paying down interest obligations. <br />Commissioner Lathrop suggested banking the money and likes the idea of <br />a "nest egg". Commissioner Gorsevski concurs with Menaker. Menaker <br />suggested LRC look at items that benefit multiple parcels, items that <br />impact a high percentage of the Urban Renewal Area. <br />Chair Becker stated that we have the filters for decision making but do we <br />have the mechanism for someone to bring a project to LRC? <br />Commissioner Tofte suggested that too many rules may limit what is <br />possible and thinks LRC is accessible. <br />Becker stated the budget will be approved in December. <br />Public Comments: <br />Commissioners' Comments — <br />New items for Next Meeting January , 2013 <br />•Commissioner Lathrop would like an update on the Gateway Project <br />•Sam Light said that a Public Hearing and adoption of the Budget will be <br />required. <br />Meeting Adjourned at 8:52 AM <br />
