<br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1992 BUDGET BY INCREASING REVENUES AND
<br />APPROPRIATIONS, AND RESERVES IN THE GENERAL, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS,
<br />CEMETERY, CONSERVATION TRUST, DEBT SERVICE, CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION,
<br />WATER, WASTEWATER, GOLF COURSE, AND INTERNAL SERVICE FUNDS FOR THE
<br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a need exists for appropriating additional sums of money in the General,
<br />Capital Improvements, Cemetery, Conservation Trust, Debt Service, Capital
<br />Construction, Water, Wastewater, Golf Course, and Internal Service Funds to defray
<br />expenses in excess of amounts budgeted, and;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City has received unanticipated revenue not assured at the time of the
<br />adoption of the budget, from sources other than the City's local property tax mill levy,
<br />in the General, Capital Improvement, Cemetery, Conservation Trust, Debt Service,
<br />Capital Construction, Water, Wastewater, Golf Course and Internal Service Funds, and;
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Amendment ("Amendment One") adding Article
<br />X, Section 20 to the Colorado Constitution approved by the voters on November 3,
<br />1992, the City wishes to increase reserves in the various City funds for the purposes
<br />of such funds, which reserves are different from the so-called "emergency reserves"
<br />described in paragraph (5) of Amendment One.
<br />
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />LOUISVILLE, COLORADO;
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the 1992 General Fund Revenues are hereby increased from
<br />$5,684,465 to $6,856,000 and the 1992 General Fund Appropriations are hereby
<br />increased from $5,684,465 to $6,856,000 as provided in Appendix A, attached
<br />hereto and incorporated herein.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the 1992 Capital Improvement Fund Revenues are hereby increased
<br />from $2,116,545 to $4,569,910 and the 1992 Capital Improvement Fund
<br />Appropriations are hereby increased from $2,116,545 to $4,569,910 as provided in
<br />Appendix S, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the 1992 Cemetery Fund Revenues are hereby increased from
<br />$23,720 to $224,340 and the 1992 Cemetery Fund Appropriations are hereby
<br />increased from $11,220 to $224,340 as provided in Appendix C, attached hereto and
<br />incorporated herein.
