Call to Order — Vice -chair Theresa Rounds called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm. <br />II. Roll call —Board members present: Shelly Alm, Neal Griggsmiller, Erik Gustafson, <br />Mark Newland, Theresa Rounds, Ellen Toon, Beverlee White. Board members absent: <br />Mike Frontczak. Staff member present: Dean Johnson. City Council member present: <br />Susan Loo. <br />III. The agenda was approved by all members. <br />IV. The minutes from the November 7, 2013 meeting were approved. <br />V. Public comment on Items not on the Agenda — Theresa announced that she will not <br />reapply for another term on HFAB. She feels strongly that the focus for HFAB should <br />continue to be the completion of major Arboretum projects such as the xeric <br />demonstration garden renovation, and restrooms. <br />Comment was made that the Arboretum section on the City website is not up to date. <br />According to Susan, the City has contracted with a company to update IT systems, <br />including the City of Louisville website. <br />VI. Schedule of Events for 2014 — Emerald ash borer seminar on Thursday, Feb. 27 at the <br />Rec Center.
