RESOLUTION NO. 18 SERIES 1992 A RESOLUTION OF TIIE alY COUNaL OF TIIE OTY OF LOUISVILLE FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE OF AN ANNEXATION PETITION FILED BY GEORGE MATIERN AND INITIATING ANNEXATION PRCXEIDINGS FOR CERTAIN PROPERlY AND ESTABUSHING A TIME FOR A PUBUC HEARING TO DETERMINE IF TIIE PROPOSED ANNEXATION COMPLIES WIlli STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. WHEREAS, under C.R.S, ~31-12-108, the governing body of a municipality must initiate annexation proceedings, fmd substantial compliance of an annexation petition filed and establish a date, time, and place to hold a hearing to determine if the annexation complies with statutory requirements; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Louisville desires to utilize said statute with respect to the annexation of certain property described on Exhibit "A", attached hereto. NOW, TIIEREFORE. BE IT RESOL VEl) by the City Council of the City of Louisville, Colorado: Section 1. The City Council specifically finds the annexation petition attached to be in substantial compliance with the requirements ofC.R.S. ~31-12-107 and that the annexation proceedings to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" including rights-of-way of the City are hereby initiated. Section 2. The City Council hereby establishes a public hearing to determine if this annexation complies with Colorado Revised Statutes for April 7, 1992 at 7:00 p.m. at the Louisville City Council Chambers, 749 Main Street, Louisville, Colorado. Section 3, The City Qerk is hereby authorized to give all notices as required by statute. Section 4, The City Council hereby refers the annexation and zoning request to the Planning Commission.
