LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITYMEMO <br />AGENDA ITEM V-A <br />SUBJECT:APPROVAL OF DESIGNATION OF PLACES FOR POSTING <br />NOTICES FOR PUBLIC MEETINGS <br />DATE:JANUARY 27, 2014 <br />PRESENTED BY:CAROL HANSON, AUTHORITY SECRETARY <br />SUMMARY: <br />Section 24-6-402(2)(c) of the Colorado Open Meetings Law requires all public bodies of <br />the City designate the public place or places for posting of notices of public meetings. <br />The designation must be made at the local body’s first regular meeting of each calendar <br />year. Staff requeststhe Authorityapprove the following locations for theposting of <br />meeting notices for 2014: <br />City Hall, 749 Main Street <br />Police Department/Municipal Court,992 West Via Appia <br />Recreation/Senior Center, 900 West Via Appia <br />Louisville PublicLibrary, 951 Spruce Street <br />Pursuant to the Home Rule Charter, meeting notices and agendas are also published <br />on the City’s web site at www.LouisvilleCO.gov. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve designation of posting locations as listedabove. <br />LOCAL LICENSING AUTHORITY <br /> <br />
