Heather Bergman, President <br />Peak Facilitation Group, Inc. <br />14123 Roaring Fork Circle Broomfield, CO 80023 <br />heather@peakfacilitation.com720-299-8796 <br />Select Mediation and Facilitation Experience <br />Interbasin Compact Committee <br />Heather is currently facilitating the ongoing deliberations of the Interbasin Compact Committee <br />(IBCC), which was established by Colorado statute <br />river basins and to address statewide water issues. The 27 members of the IBCC represent nine <br />basin roundtables and additional stakeholders in statewide water issues. The IBCC meets <br />supply gap in ways that maintain existing uses, address environmental needs, and builds on local <br />knowledge, entities, and processes. (2010 to present) <br />Center of Excellence in Conservation <br />In response to concern about the legitimacy of some conservation easements, theColorado land <br />trust community decided to take voluntary steps towards improving the quality of conservation <br />easements and land conservation in the state. Heather facilitatesthe deliberations of the <br />governing Commission of the Center ofExcellence, comprised of more than 20 leaders in the <br />land conservation community. Together, they have identified ways to achieve new, community <br />standards for land conservation and have outlined a path of future steps to improve conservation <br />work over time.The group continues to meet to discuss additional ways to improve the <br />management of land conservation organizations and to maintain the quality of conserved lands <br />into the future. (2011 to present) <br />South Platte River Flows Dialogue <br />Heather facilitates this multi-jurisdictional effort to improve flows through the Arapahoe Reach of the <br />South Platte River below the Chatfield Reservoir south of the Denver Metro region. This group is <br />seeking to establish a voluntary flow management agreement among multiple water providers and <br />municipalities in order to enhance and maintain the South Platte corridor as a healthy riparian area and <br />a vibrant recreation area. The participants anticipate integrating their agreement into the Final <br />Environmental Impact Statement for the Chatfield Reallocation Project through the US Army Corps <br />ection 37-60-122.2 related to <br />mitigating impacts to fish and wildlife resources. (July 2012 to present) <br />Pikes Peak Regional Sustainability Project <br />The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments convened community and government leaders in <br />ility plan. <br />Heather facilitate both the decision-making Consensus Committee and the issue-area focus <br />groups addressing energy and water, transportation, economic development, the built and natural <br />environment, health, and recycling and procurement. This process actively engaged more than <br />50 stakeholders throughout the region to identifystretch goals and related strategies to transform <br />4 <br />
