ORDINANCE NO. 1655 <br /> SERIES 2014 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THE 2013 EDITIONS OF NFPA 501A: <br /> STANDARD FOR FIRE SAFETY CRITERIA FOR MANUFACTURED HOME <br /> INSTALLATIONS, SITES AND COMMUNITIES AND NFPA 225: MODEL <br /> MANUFACTURED HOME INSTALLATION STANDARD AND REPEALING AND <br /> REENACTING, WITH AMENDMENTS, CHAPTER 15.20 OF THE LOUISVILLE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING STANDARDS FOR MOBILE AND <br /> MANUFACTURED HOMES AND CHAPTER 15.24 OF THE LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE REGARDING STANDARDS FOR MOBILE HOME PARKS. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville is a Colorado home rule municipal corporation <br /> duly organized and existing under laws of the State of Colorado and the City Charter; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Louisville wishes to update its standards for construction, <br /> maintenance, and inspections of mobile and manufactured homes and parks and to <br /> make other revisions to the standards for mobile and manufactured homes and parks as <br /> provided herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens of <br /> the City to amend the Louisville Municipal Code as set forth herein below to ensure basic <br /> life safety assurances; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing held November 21, 2013, where <br /> evidence and testimony were entered into the record, the Louisville Building Code <br /> Board of Appeals and City staff reviewed the proposed ordinance and recommends <br /> adoption of the same to the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has provided notice of a public hearing on said ordinance <br /> by publication as provided by law and held a public hearing as provided in said notice; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> Section 1. Chapter 15.20 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed <br /> and reenacted with amendments to read as follows: <br /> Chapter 15.20 <br /> Standards for Mobile and Manufactured Homes <br /> Sec. 15.20.010.
