Finance Director, Kevin Watson stated that the allocation of <br />property and casualty premiums will be examined during the year. Mr. Watson <br />stated that the worker's compensation premium is currently allocated by City <br />department. <br />The Marketing Results, Final Program Comparison of 2013 vs. 2014 Renewal <br />and narrative can be located in the packet of the January 21, 2014 Finance <br />Committee Meeting. <br />PRELIMINARY 2015 BUDGET CALENDAR <br />Finance Director Watson distributed a first draft of the budget calendar for the <br />2015 budget process and stated that the calendar may need to be amended <br />should there be significant changes. <br />The preliminary 2015 budget calendar and narrative can be located in the packet <br />of the January 21 2014 Finance Committee Meeting. <br />NON - PROFIT GRANT PROGRAM — FINANCE COMMITTEE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS FOR 2014 <br />At the December Finance Committee meeting, the Finance Director provided the <br />Finance Committee with binders containing the actual grant request <br />documentation. For 2014, the budget contains $20,000 for grants /contributions <br />to non - profit agencies. <br />Finance Committee members discussed their desire to contribute to those <br />agencies which provide the most benefit to Louisville residents, or which are <br />located in Louisville. <br />The Committee approved the disbursement of the funds to the same <br />organizations, and in the same amounts as were approved in 2013, with the <br />exception of eliminating the $400 contribution to Center Stage Theater Company <br />(which made no request for 2014), increasing the amount of the contribution from <br />$400 to $600 for Boulder County Legal Services, increasing the amount of the <br />contribution from $700 to $800 for United Methodist Church — Louisville Food <br />Bank, and increasing the amount of the contribution to Imagine Foundation from <br />$400 to $500. <br />Council Member's Stolzmann and Keany requested City Manager Fleming <br />schedule a meeting with the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity organization to <br />4 <br />
