Louisville Sustainability Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes:Wednesday, January15th, 2014 <br />City Hall,749MainStreet, SpruceRoom <br />I.Call to Order:The meeting was called to order at 6:30pm by Chair Mary Ann Heaney. Meeting <br />Minutes to be taken by MarkPersichetti. <br />II.Roll Call:(Members presentin bold):Jim Bradford, Cullen Choi, Mary Ann Heaney,David <br />Hsu,Claudia Lenz,Mark Persichetti;Justine Vigil-Tapia;City-Staff Liaison Dave Szabados; City- <br />Council Liaison Ashley Stolzmann. <br />III.Approval of Current-Meeting’s Agenda:The agenda was approved as-is. <br />th <br />IV. Approval of Dec-18thMeeting Minutes:The minutes from theDec 18meeting were <br />approved as-is. <br />V. Approval of Agenda-Posting Locations: The list of public locations was approved. <br />VI.Public Commentson Items Not on the Agenda:Ashley S mentioned we may need to consider <br />local effects of adoption of the Trans-Pacific Partnership(TPP), and we could look at the work of Sam <br />Schabacher, Food & Water Watch.Dave S mentioned he will be studying Boulder County’s <br />Sustainability Plan, to see if its features may be suitable for a Louisville plan. <br />VII.Introduction of New Members:Our two new members introduced themselves and told us what <br />prompted them to apply for our board.The current members then did the samefor our new <br />members. <br />VIII: Distribution of the Open-Government Pamphlet:Dave S provided all of us with print copies <br />of the pamphlet. <br />IX.& X.Procedural Matters& Operating Guidelines:Mary Ann H reviewed our LSAB meeting <br />guidelines and procedures; a copy of those notes isattached as part of these meeting minutes. <br />XI.Open Meetings Training:DaveS mentioned the city’s requirement for biannual training <br />sessions. Either Kerry Holle or Meredyth Muth from city staff will inform us which of us are required <br />to take the training for each year. <br />XII.Municipal Solid Waste:Dave S and Ashley S briefly discussed what may happen in the future <br />for review of the city’s MSW program, and what may be requested from our board.
