send the citizen survey out in the January city water bill . <br /> Mary will put a notice in the paper regarding the`-' citizen <br /> survey. She will be emphasizing the minimal cot. for <br /> distributing it and our need for feedback from the community. <br /> Deadline for submissions for the local paper is the Monday prior <br /> to Wednesday distribution. <br /> Carolyn reported that the secretary to the city attorney still <br /> has not received any word on our 501c3 status . Receiving 501c3 <br /> status will not affect our relationship with the city. <br /> Carolyn reported that the Citizens Advisory Board met on November. <br /> 13 to finalize their recommendations for grant approvals . They <br /> ' will meet With the County Commissioners on November 21 to report <br /> on those recommendations . From the County Commissioners it will <br /> go to the district level in Denver. The final decision. will be <br /> December 20 . Each government level can reject a previous levels <br /> recommendations . <br /> The SCFD (Scientific and Cultural Facilities District) will fund <br /> ' projects a second time that received funding at a prior cycle if <br /> they feel it was worthwhile. For example , a yearly concert <br /> series that proved successful could be funded year after year. <br /> It was proposed and unanimously approved to table the contest for <br /> a logo design for the A & H Council for the present time. <br /> • <br /> Our state tax ID number will be the same as the City ' s number. <br /> The A & H Council is now the generator of the Library grant <br /> application to the SCFD, not just the sponsor. <br /> I <br /> ' GUEST REPORT <br /> Steve Baysinger attended the meeting to introduce himself to A & <br /> H Council members and to outline a protocol for communication <br /> with the City. He requested we keep City Hall informed of all our <br /> efforts and activities . Contact with the City should be routed <br /> 1 through Steve ' s office (Community Services) . <br /> We may get on the City Council agenda by getting all pertinent <br /> ' information needed to City Hall by the Thursday preceding a <br /> Tuesday City Council meeting.
