~,--, ~01143629 11/20/91 08:54 AM REAL ESTATE RECORDS F1702 CHARLOTTE HOUSTON BOULDER CNTY CO RECORDER ORDINANCE NO. 1052 SERIES 1991 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MODEL TRAFFIC CODE WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary to make certain revisions to the Model Traffic Code for Colorado Municipalities (1977 ed.) as adopted in Chapter 10.04 of the Louisville Municipal Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: / Seotion 1. Section 10.04.020 of the Louisville Municipal Code is amended by the addition of the following new Subsection I to read: I. "Seotion 4.1. Basio Rule. (a) No person shall drive a vehicle on a street or highway within this municipality at a speed greater than is prudent under the conditions existing, and in no event greater than fifty-five miles per hour. (b) Except when a special hazard exists that requires lower speed, and except as otherwise provided herein, the following speeds shall be lawful: district; (1) Thirty miles per hour in any business (2) Twenty-five miles per hour in any residence district; (3) Thirty miles per hour in any section of roadway within the city limits of the municipality designated by the director of public works as a collector street; and (4) Any speed not in excess of a posted speed limit as established pursuant to the provisions of section 4-2 or section 4-3." Seotion 2. Section 10.04.050 of the Louisville Municipal Code is amended to read: The city engineer DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS of the city is designated as the person authorized to set all speed limits within the city of Louisville which are increased or decreased specifically from those as set forth under section 4.1 of the Model Traffic Code for Colorado 1
