<br />(Py <br /> <br />G. A report from a physician licensed to practice medicine in the <br />state that ::::: applicant for either a massage therapist <br />licen~e or a ma~sage apprentice license has, THE OPERATOR AND <br />ALL EMPLOYEES PERFORMING MASSAGE HAVE within thirty days <br />immediately prior thereto, been examined and found to be free <br />of any contagious or communicable disease; and <br /> <br />H. A set of fingerprints for each person listed in the <br />application. <br /> <br />5.16.060 Public hearing -- Issuance. <br /> <br />A. The city council shall conduct a public hearing on each <br />license application received as set forth in fl4s THIS section. <br />The city council shall enter a finding when issuing a license <br />that each applicant OPERATOR has met the following standards: <br /> <br />1. That each individual to be associated with the applicant <br />OPERATOR is of good character; <br /> <br />2. That each massage parlor or establish-ment conforms to all <br />zoning regulations and restrictions and to the standards <br />of the building code, adopted in Title 15; and, further, <br /> <br />3. That other existing licenses relative to the particular <br />locality in issue are inadequate for the reasonable needs <br />for the neighborhood. <br /> <br />B. Upon instruction from the city council, the city clerk shall <br />issue the proper license to the applicant for a term of one <br />year. The city council may waive the requirement of a public <br />~~~:~~? for an application for a license a~ a ma~sage <br />therapist if the city council is satisfied that such applicant <br />conforms to all requircmcnts of thi~ chapter and no need <br />cxist~ for a public hearing thereon. <br /> <br />5.16.070 Display of license. <br /> <br />A. Every pcrson, association, partnership, firm or corporation <br />OPERATOR to whom or for which a lIcense ha::; bee.n granted sh.all <br />display said license in a conspicuous place so that the same <br />may be readily seen by any person entering the premises where <br />the massage treatment is given. <br /> <br />B. Each applicant, liccnaec, OPERATOR or agent or employee of <br />said applicant OPERATOR shall obtain an identity card from the <br />director of public safety and shall carry said identity card <br />at all times while in or upon the licensed premises. <br /> <br />4 <br />
