The new monthly report format will be presented at the April 21, 2014 meeting and the quarterly reports at the May meeting of the Finance Committee. CASH & INVESTMENTS REPORT AS OF FEBRUARY 28, 2014 The Finance Director presented the monthly investment reports for the period ended February 28, 2014. Director Watson noted a $750K increase in cash and advised the Finance Committee that they would see investments shift to shorter term maturities to provide liquidity to finance City projects and construction due to begin in the Spring and Summer. The reports and the corresponding narrative can be located in the packet of the March 17, 2014 Finance Committee Meeting. LIST OF BILLS Finance Committee Members requested revision to the reports provided for the listing of the City's bills. The Finance Director indicated staff will work to provide an improved format to be presented at a future Finance Committee meeting. A list of the bills scheduled for Council approval on March 18, 2014 can be located in the packet of the March 17, 2014 Finance Committee Meeting. DISCUSSION ITEMS FOR THE NEXT MEETING & MEETING SCHEDULE The next Finance Committee Meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 21, 2014 at 7:30 a.m. Discussion items currently scheduled for a future meeting are: • Sales Tax Reports for the Period Ended February 28, 2014. • Cash & Investment Report as of March 31, 2014. • List of Bills ADJOURN The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 a.m. 5
