Sisk moved that Council continue this matter until June 18, 1996. Seconded by Levihn. All in favor.

OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA

NONE

CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT

NONE

CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT

Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that staff requested to reschedule the June 25 Work Session
to June 26 because the RID Board would be meeting that night and Council is invited to talk about
possible circulator shuttle service within Louisville. He notified Council about the public hearing
regarding the adoption with the City of Lafayette and Boulder County of an Intergovernmental
Agreement for the Comprehensive Plan. This will take the place of the existing agreement that was
done in 1985 that will expire in 2000. Copies and maps are available at City Hall. Also, as required
by Louisville Municipal Code, notice was given of an Administrative Amendment to the PUD Final
Development Plan for Century Office Park.

COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS

Mayer reported that he and Ronda Kelley had attended the local R TD Government meeting. The
feeling was that it would be of benefit to Louisville if they got their request in early and came to the
RTD work session with a number of citizens, Council, the Transportation Task Force, and a
representative of the Chamber of Commerce to show Louisville's support.

Levihn asked the City Administrator to look into the anti-clunker program in Longmont as a
possibility for Louisville. He pointed out that on Roosevelt there is a snow plow parked on the street
and a van with a flat tire across the street.

Davidson pointed out that Louisville's anti-clunker ordinance is substantially stronger than
Longmont's. Also, after discussions with Council members by phone about Louisville's interest in
purchase of open space with the County near 88th Street, he had communicated back to the County
Commissioners that Louisville would be interested in discussing that with them. He asked the City
Administrator to proceed with that.

8
