CITY OF LOUISVILLE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8 <br />Series of 1975 <br />L4HEREAS, the City of Louisville intends to participate in <br />the program of identificattion, designation, and administration of areas <br />and activities of State interest as described in House Bill 1041 <br />(Article 7, Title 24-65.1,, CRS 1973), and <br />PR-iE.REAS, the aforernentioned program can be best implemented <br />on a cooperative, County-wide basis utilizing the combined resources <br />of municipalities, the County, and other agencies, and <br />WHEREAS, upon request by the City of_ Louisville and in lieu <br />of other available planning services, Boulder County shall provide the <br />necessary services to the City of Louisville to complete the identification <br />and designation of areas and activities of State interest pursuant to <br />House Bill 1041 (Article 7, Title 24-65.1, CRS 1973), and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has been allocated $700.00 <br />in supplemental funding to initiate identification and designation programs <br />within the priority areas of_ natural hazard areas and mineral resources <br />areas and, <br />WHEREAS, those monies allocated to the City of_ Louisville shall <br />be held by Boulder County until such time as reimbursement for work <br />completed is requested ands reviewed for compliance with the intentions <br />of House Bill 1041 (Article 7, Title 24-65.1, CRS 1973), and <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IZ' RESOLVED that the City o.f Louisville intends <br />to establish and pursue a House Bill 1041 work program (Article 7, Title <br />24-65.1, CRS 1973) in cooperation and with the assistance of other <br />municipalities, the County, and other agencies, and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $700.00 shall be expended <br />by the City of Louisville in the identification and designation of the <br />priority areas of geological hazard areas, wildlife hazard areas, flood- <br />plain areas, and mineral resource areas, and <br />
