RESOLUTION N0. 18 <br />Awarding a Contract to American Pipe Line Construction Co., Inc., for Con- <br />struction of 8" and 6" Water Main Replacement in Louisville, Colorado. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisvillle has entered into a Community Development <br />Block Grant Program, Act of 1974, with the Federal Government for the area <br />known as Project No. B-75-HS-•08-0003; and <br />WHEREAS, the Louisville Urbari Renewal Authority has entered into a Loan and <br />Capital Grant Contract with t:he Federal Government for the area known as <br />Louisville NDP Colorado A-12; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville and the Louisville Urban Renewal Authority <br />desire with funding to be provided pursuant to both programs mentioned above; <br />and to engage the contractor to perform construction of said water main re- <br />placements. <br />WHEREAS, the firm of American Pipe Line Construction Co., Inc., has been re- <br />viewed and found qualified to perform said services; and <br />WHEREAS, the total bid submitted by American Pipe Line Construction Co. Inc., <br />was in the amount of $74,443.20 this being the lowest qualified bid received <br />for said construction; and <br />WHEREAS, said sum is fair and equitable for the scope of services proposed; and <br />WHEREAS, said contract shall expire ninety (90) consecutive calendar days after <br />execution of an agreement by the Louisville Urban Renewal Authority and the City <br />of Louisville; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Louisville that; <br />Section 1. The contract for construction of water main replacements in the NDP <br />Project Area be awarded to American Pipe Line Construction Co.
