RESC-LUTION N0. 29 <br />WHEREAS, the: City of Louisville, in the County of Boulder <br />and State of Colorado, by an Order of the District Court in and <br />for the County of Boulder, State of Colorado, Civil Action No. <br />11781,dated November 22, 1972, received all of the assets of the <br />Louisville Sanitation District, which District was dissolved in <br />the above Civil Action, and upon receipt of the sanitary sewer <br />system from the District the City of Louisville agreed to <br />operate and maintain the system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City now owns and has continued to <br />operate and maintain the sanitary sewer system as its municipal <br />sewer system; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined, and does <br />hereby determine, to improve and extend the system, the cost <br />thereof to be defrayed in major part from the proceeds of the <br />revenue bonds herein authorized; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has therefore determined to <br />issue revenue bonds of said municipal sanitary sewer system in the <br />total principal amount of $280,000 for such purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the laws of the State of <br />Colorado, it is necessary to provide for the public sale of <br />the bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has therefore determined to <br />authorize the Notice o:E Sale of said revenue bonds in the <br />principal amount of $280,000 in accordance with the provisions <br />of the laws of the State of Colorado thereto applicable; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LOUISVILLEā COLORADO: <br />1. That the City of Louisville, Colorado, Sewer <br />Revenue Bonds, in the principal amount of $280,000, are hereby <br />ordered to be offered i:or sale and be publicly sold and awarded <br />to the highest and best: bidder for cash at public sale, subject <br />to the right of the City to reject any and all bids, in accor- <br />dance with the terms and conditions of the Notice of Sale here- <br />inafter set forth. <br />2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause <br />the Notice of Sale of :>aid bonds to be published once in the <br />Louisville Times, a newspaper circulating in the City of <br />Louisville, and once iri The Daily Journal, a financial news- <br />paper published in Denver, Colorado, at least five days prior <br />to the date of sale. <br />3.
