The sewer tap fee for each senior independent living unit, as defined in Section <br />13.12.020 of this Code, shall be 60 percent of the existing charge for a single <br />family dwelling sewer tap. The tap fee for each multifamily dwelling and each <br />townhouse in a group of attached "townhouses," as defined in Section 17.08.560 <br />of this Code shall be 80 percent of the existing charge for a single - family dwelling <br />sewer tap. <br />C. The sewer tap fee for all other uses not described in subsections A and B of this <br />section shall be one half of the total water tap fee paid as set forth in a city <br />council resolution establishing such fees. <br />Staff recommended the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 1663, Series 2014 on second <br />and final reading. <br />Mayor Muckle called for Council questions, hearing none, called for public comment, <br />hearing none called for Council comments. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />MOTION: Council member Lipton moved to approve Ordinance No. 1663, Series 2014 <br />on second and final reading, seconded by Council member Keany. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton absent. <br />1001 LINCOLN AVENUE RIGHT -OF -WAY VACATION AGREEMENT AND <br />ORDINANCE No. 1664, SERIES 2014 — AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE <br />VACATION OF A TEN FEET SIX INCHES (10'6 ") BY ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE <br />FEET (125') PORTION OF SOUTH STREET RIGIHT -OF -WAY LOCATED ADJACENT <br />TO LOT 1, BLOCK 4 IN THE CAPITOL HILL SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE —1st Reading — Set Public Hearing 8/5/2014 <br />Mayor Muckle requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light introduced Ordinance No. 1664, Series 2014 and explained staffs <br />recommendation is for the City Council to enter into an agreement with the home <br />owners of 1001 Lincoln Avenue concerning a right -of -way (ROW) vacation and certain <br />improvements. Staff also recommended City Council approve Ordinance No. 1664, <br />Series 2014 on first reading and set second reading and public hearing for August 5, <br />2104. <br />Planning and Building Safety Director Russ explained the 1001 Lincoln Avenue right of <br />way vacation for the northern portion of South Street, west of Lincoln Avenue, would <br />enable the finalization of a pedestrian connection between the Old Town neighborhood <br />and McKinley Park.
