Board of Adjustment <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 16, 2014 <br />Page 3 of 6 <br />Staff recommends approval of this request. <br />Questions from Board to Staff: <br />Meseck asked if the proposed deck was located higher than 30 inches off grade. <br />McCartney stated it was and commented that was a good question. He stated if the <br />deck were less than 30 inches in height it would not count towards lot coverage. <br />Applicant Presentation and questions from the Board to the applicant: <br />Jeff Mace, applicant and owner of the house, presented. He stated he agrees with <br />staff’s report and asked if there were any questions. <br />No questions were asked of the applicant. <br />Public Present in Opposition of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Public Present in Favor of Application: <br />None heard. <br />Public Hearing Closed / Board Discussion: <br />Malmquist stated the reports were thorough and believes the criteria have been met. <br />Stuart and Ewy verbally agreed. <br />The reminder of the commission nodded in agreement. <br />Malmquist made a motion to approve.
