RESOLUTION NO.10 <br />SERIES 2014 <br />A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A PRELIMINARY PLAT AND <br />PRELIMINARYPLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) PLAN TO ALLOW FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW BUILDING AND ADDITIONSTO TWO EXISTING <br />BUILDINGS TOTALING 27,000 SQUARE FEET AT THE GRAIN ELEVATOR SITE, <br />500-544 COUNTY ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Planning Commission an <br />application for approval of a Preliminary Plat and PreliminaryPlanned Unit Development <br />to allow for the construction of a new building and additions to two existing buildings <br />totaling 27,000 square feet at the Grain Elevator site, 500-544 County Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed the information submitted and found it to <br />comply with Louisville Municipal Code Chapter 17.28; and <br />WHEREAS, after a duly noticed public hearing on July 10, 2014, where <br />evidence and testimony were entered into the record, including the findings in the <br />Louisville Planning Commission Staff Report dated July 10, 2014,thePlanning <br />Commission finds the Grain Elevator Preliminary Plat and PreliminaryPUD Plan, <br />located at 500-544 County Road,should be approvedwith one condition: <br />1.The waivers to the height and number of stories on Lots 1 and 3 are conditional <br />pending the final design presented in the final PUD application for <br />Building architecture on Lot 1, the pedestrian scale of the building’s <br />o <br />ground plane and general upgrades to the existing warehouse butler <br />building’s architecture visible from Front Street. <br />The public easement and design of Outlot A as a public park/plaza without <br />o <br />surface parking. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Louisville, Colorado does hereby recommend approval of a Preliminary Plat and <br />PreliminaryPlanned Unit Development to allow for the construction of a new building <br />and additions to two existing buildings totaling 27,000 square feet at the Grain Elevator <br />site, 500-544 County Road, with one condition: <br />1.The waivers to the height and number of stories on Lots 1 and 3 are conditional <br />pending the final design presented in the final PUD application for <br />Building architecture on Lot 1, the pedestrian scale of the building’s <br />o <br />ground plane and general upgrades to the existing warehouse butler <br />building’s architecture visible from Front Street. <br />The public easement and design of Outlot A as a public park/plaza without <br />o <br />surface parking. <br />th <br />PASSED AND ADOPTEDthis 10day of July, 2014. <br />By:______________________________ <br />Chris Pritchard, Chairman <br />Planning Commission <br />Attest:_____________________________ <br />
