Mr. Coates asked the Authority to approve the application for a hotel and restaurant liquor license. Carlson thanked the applicant, closed the public hearing and asked for Authority comment. Hughes commented everything seemed to be in order and he was impressed with the report of no violations in any of the other Cinebarre locations. Lipton looked forward to the opening of Cinebarre. Carlson said he had his questions answered and appreciated the updating of the theatre. He commented since liquor licensing is two tier, local and state, state enforcement may visit to check if Cinebarre is in compliance with all liquor laws. Authority members informed the applicant the police department holds seller /server training on a quarterly basis. Mr. Coates asked for a schedule of those trainings. Hughes moved the Local Licensing Authority of the City of Louisville find the applicant is of good moral character, the inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the license be granted, the license will meet the reasonable requirements of the neighborhood, all City and State law requirements have been met and, based on these findings, the Local Licensing Authority approve issuance of a hotel and restaurant liquor license for Cinebarre LLC doing business as Cinebarre. Lipton seconded. Roll Call Vote: Lipton — yes, Machado — yes, Tennessen — yes, Hughes — yes and Carlson — yes. License approved. Police Department Reports No reports. Secretary's Report Hanson noted the special seller /server training for the Street Faire volunteers was very well attended. Hanson reported City Council had appointed Tom Tennessen as a full member of the Authority.
