Russ noted that Comprehensive Plan has listed those specific goals and we
need to do a better job of incorporating those goals into our messaging.

Mazier recommended starting with a Communications Audit before anything else
so as to better understand what long-term strategies would work for Louisville.
He recommended the following steps:
1. Communications Audit
2. Identify the Messaging
3. Determine How to Communicate
4. Determine if the Changes Were Effective.

Members want to have both a communications audit and a long-term strategic
communications plan included in their recommendations for Council. For the next
meeting the group will focus on how the audit would fit in to the other tasks the
City Council gave the group and what other items should be recommended with
the audit.

Next Meeting: The group scheduled their next meeting for August 12 at 4:00
PM.

Adjourned at 5:30 PM.
