Revitalization Commission
Minutes
June 30, 2014

For eminent domain where there is not owner consent, five blight factors
are required.

Commissioner Lathrop said he feels some of the blight factors found are a
stretch but he is on board. He said the restrictive covenants are a touchy
subject.

Mike Kranzdorf is in agreement with Commissioners Lathrop and Fisher.

Commissioner Fisher made a motion to endorse the findings of the Conditions
Survey. Commissioner Menaker seconded the motion. All were in favor.
Mayor Muckle abstained from voting.

b. Zoning required it to be a duplex. DeJong asked if there are any
comments from LRC to be forwarded to Planning.
There was discussion about allowing accessory dwelling units, parking and
whether this is a topic for the LRC to consider. The consensus was the LRC has
no feedback to provide to Planning.

Public Comments:
Rick Brew reported that DELO plans to start the project in 4 weeks.
