<br /> He also stated that additional notes were added to the plan concerning landscaping to help keep <br />the station looking better throughout the year, along with another note on the plan to prohibit <br />outdoor displays for sale purposes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Public Hearing Closed/Commission Discussion: <br /> <br />Commissioner Pritchard is concerned about the neon band around the canopy, therefore he would <br />have a hard time supporting this particular request. <br /> <br />Chairman Boulet likes the red band, however, he does not want to see it illuminated. He would <br />also like to see the lighting toned down and shielded to some degree underneath the canopy. <br />Boulet would like to require the lighting to be shielded and that the actual light fixture be <br />presented to the City Council. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Nostrand would like to see that they are held to the note that says that says <br />that there will be no outside sales. <br /> <br /> <br />Motion made by Commissioner McAllister to approve Resolution No. 23, Series 1998, a <br />resolution approving Amendment to an Amended PUD Development Plan for Conoco with two <br />conditions as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />Chairman Boulet added Condition No. 3, that the red canopy accent ban not be illuminated. <br /> <br />Accepted by Commissioner McAllister.Seconded by Russ Van Nostrand. <br /> <br />Commissioner Van Nostrand also made a friendly amendment to add a Condition No. 4 that the <br />downcast canopy light fixtures shall be modified to include shielding to prevent off-site glare, with <br />fixture details provided prior to City Council review of the proposed amendment to the Amended <br /> <br />Final PUD. Accepted by Commissioner McAllister. <br /> <br />Roll Call Vote <br />: <br /> <br />Chris Pritchard, Yes; Sarah Klahn, Yes; Russ Van Nostrand, Yes; Robert McAllister, Yes; Bill <br />Boulet, Yes. <br /> <br />Motion passes 5:0. <br /> <br /> <br />E.
