All <br />Planning Commissioners verified that they were familiar with the site. <br /> <br />Staff Report and Facts and Issues: <br /> <br />Mr. Wood presented the details of this matter as stated in the staff report. <br /> <br />Commission Questions: <br /> <br />Commissioner McAvinew asked what the basis for Staff’s recommendation that the canopy not be <br />eliminated. <br /> <br />Mr. Wood stated that it is a fairly small area of canopy and that within the structure there are two can <br />lights that would provide sufficient lighting over the business entrance. It would minimize the <br />opportunity for additional advertising on the canopy. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kalish asked about the beacon. <br /> <br />Mr. Wood does not believe that it is working at this time, however, they would like to fix it and keep it <br />working. <br /> <br />Applicant Presentation: <br /> <br />Melinda Pasquini would like to replace the name of the restaurant to “Pasquini’s” instead of “Colacci’s”. <br />Their goal is to maintain the architectural integrity of the building as much as they can, and do not what <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br />
