They are presenting the first phase of a two- phase development with the intent to move forward to the second phase, which is Lot 3. We agree with all the conditions as outlined in the printed staff report. Lipton requested public comment. Members of the Public: Hearing no comment Lipton requested questions from Commissioners. Commission Questions: McAvinew had questions regarding the landscape and the removal of the trees. Hartronft stated that the trees had been removed from the plan as previously requested. Lipton asked why the variance for the 4 parking spaces when there was already adequate parking. Hartronft stated the decision was based on how the road has changed from the beginning of the project until today as well as they felt the development would benefit with the additional four spaces in the particular location. McDermott expressed a concern with the yellow (mustard) color. Hartronft stated that the colors are complimentary to the rest of the color pallet. Pritchard asked the applicant if they could provide an example of where the color had been used in town. Hartronft replied no. Lipton questioned Wood about parking and if cross parking was an issue for this project. Wood does not believe that it is an issue since they are both office buildings. 8
