Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />OCTOBER 13, 2005 <br />Page 8 of 8 <br /> <br />Pritchard stated to address the color selection and to possible have a discussion with the <br />City Council prior to proceeding. <br />Lipton requested that the staff conduct an informal survey of signs in other communities: <br />i.e. compare theater to theater, create a digital presentation for a possible study session <br />that would include signs from Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette, and Westminster. <br />Staff identified the following to look at: monument signs in retail area, wall signs, <br />window signs, temporary signs, real estate signs, time of illumination, and how to reduce <br />the impact to residential. <br />Staff requested that the discussion of signs be on the December agenda and not the <br />November to allow adequate time to research all the suggestions from the Commission. <br />The Commission agreed to that timeline. <br />Staff Comments <br />– No additional comments. <br />Planning Commission Comments <br />– No additional comments. <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting <br /> – No additional discussion items. <br />Adjourn <br /> – Pritchard moved and Dalton seconded a motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />Lipton adjourned the meeting at 7:55 PM. <br />
