City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />February 11, 2014 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Councilmember Lipton said the question is what are the impacts of development <br />and how will BVSD respond to it. The data shows it is not necessarily the <br />development but the change of dynamics in existing housing. How do we <br />manage it? <br /> <br />Mr. Orr said that parents should contact the school board with concerns. The <br />BVSD School Board makes decisions regarding schools. <br /> <br />Councilmember Stolzmann said Council needs to hear from parents regarding <br />their concerns. <br /> <br />Councilmember Lipton suggested sharing a letter of concerns from the meeting <br />with the school board. <br /> <br />US36 Update <br />Deputy City Manager Heather Balser gave an update on US36. She said there <br />have been conversations about the contract with Plenary, about HOV3 and <br />tolling.
