• Hole 10: Minor work was needed on the pond to repair storm damage. Two large
trees to the right of the fairway after the first creek crossing are being removed along
with some smaller trees and the cart path is moved to the right so the path and the
bridge are no longer in play off the tee.
• Hole 11: no comments. George Pendleton's memorial tree will be removed and
replaced. The pond on hole 11 has been relined, covered in dirt and is ready to fill.
The adjacent ponds on hole 8 and hole 12 are repaired and refilled.
• Hole 12: the tees have been split and contoured to direct floodwater into the pond and
protect the homes. Scrub has been cleared allowing the banks of the Goodhue Ditch
to be re- contoured and further protect homes. The fairway is contoured to improve
drainage and the second bunker on the left is being moved more into the fairway to
make it visible from the tee but narrowing the landing area for long hitters.
• Hole 13: significant bunker work around the green will make a good improvement
• Hole 14: The pond is relined and ready for dirt fill. A central drain is in place to
channel surface water into the pond. Steps will be taken to address homeowner
concerns about the aesthetics of the weather station.
• Hole 15: two new bunkers are in place at the apex of the dogleg and the bunker on
the right of the green has been removed and replaced by a grass collection area. The
greenside bunker has moved to the left side of the green. The green is now
contoured to 3 levels - be careful what you wish for.
• Hole 16: The green has moved to the right and now is perfectly lined up in front of the
large Cottonwood. A new bunker is on the left at the apex of the slight dogleg and the
bunker on the right has moved further from the tee. The CDOT funded berms are
attractive and will significantly reduce road noise. CDOT will fund additional tree
planting along these berms as well.
• Hole 17: No work has started on the back tee pending delivery of the bridge but
otherwise work is well advanced. There are some modifications to the left of the
green to avoid balls bouncing into the creek. The tree to the right of the tee box has
been removed.
• Hole 18: The cart path has been moved to the left to put it out of play and a bunker
added at the apex of the right hand dogleg.
4
