professional background
Patsy McEntee has served as project manager and environmental designer on numerous park, trail,
and landscape projects for the last 15 years. She currently works as a landscape architect and
community planner for the National Park Service and does side work under Terre Sky Studio. Her
community trail planning work with NPS includes connectivity gap analysis, trail and park
masterplanning, mapping, public outreach and design guidelines. She has extensive experience with
wayfinding, sign design and fabrication, having developed trailhead and park wayfinding plans for
much of the Boulder County Parks and regional trail system. Patsy's work encompasses a range of
planning and design activities focused on developing trails and parks that are safe and friendly to kids,
systems that are legible and navigable by the broader community. Patsy lives in Louisville, is an avid
cyclist and runner and uses the Louisville trail system daily. Her intimate knowledge of the system and
observations of how residents use the trails are an important addition to this project.
