2006 BUDGET HIGHLIGHTS <br /> he City Council adopted the 2006 budget at its November 1 meeting. Copies of the budget are available on <br /> the City's website at wwwci.louisville.co.us, at the Library, and in the City Clerk's office at City Hall. Listed <br /> below are some of the highlights of the 2006 budget. For more infromation about the budget or the budget pro- <br /> cess,please visit the City's web site at wwwci.louisville.co.us or contact Patty Leslie at 303.335.4505. <br /> Your City is committed to: <br /> Being accessible, accountable, Revenue and Expenses — It's all about services! <br /> and adaptable * Louisville has 33 sworn police officers, 15 patrol units, 3 <br /> ➢ Maintaining Louisville as detective cars, 1 SUV, and 2 code enforcement trucks <br /> a safe City responding to 22,000 events per service year. <br /> ➢ Completing a remodel of * Louisville has a Water Fund that supports 125 miles of water <br /> City Hall mains, treating and moving nearly three million gallons to <br /> ➢ Completing a remodel of residents on an average day. The Wastewater Fund <br /> City Shops maintains 118 miles of sewage lines. <br /> ➢ Continuing with Highway * Recreation is a high priority in Louisville, with 27 parks, one <br /> 42 Revitalization effort 18 hole golf course, 11 bocci courts, 2 swimming pools, 1 <br /> ➢ Completing constructing of a arts/cultural center, 11 tennis courts, 1 in-line skating rink. <br /> new Louisville Public Library The Recreation/Senior Center offers over 1,644 recreational <br /> ➢ Reconstructing Dillon Road opportunities for adults, seniors, and youth during a given <br /> 88th year. Overall attendance (daily visits/recreation programs) is <br /> from 88 to 104th street over projected to be 268,174 participants in 2005.
