CULTURAL COUNCIL COMMUNITY PARK UPDATE <br /> COFFEEHOUSE he new community park, located at 955 Bella Vista Drive, is near- <br /> ing completion.We may all be enjoying some of the new facilities <br /> CONCERT as early as November. Until then, we request that people please refrain from <br /> Guitar Series visiting the site while it is under construction. The site has deep trenches, <br /> unsecured hardware, and other conditions that are not safe for public use. <br /> Wing and Rebop Construction continues to progress on schedule and the plaza, shelter, <br /> Local Guitar Duo and playground areas should be ready for use in November. The seeded, sod, <br /> Friday, October 28 and landscaped areas will need more time to become established, however, <br /> and will not be ready for full use until the summer of 2006. <br /> Center for the Arts The many new amenities at the park are patterned after Louisville's rich <br /> 801 Grant Avenue history which comes together at the park site. This history of the site in- <br /> 730 PM cludes the railroad and the Acme Coal Mine, as well as nearby agriculture <br /> land and the historic residential neighborhood to the north. The site also has <br /> (Doors open at 7'00 PM) a wonderful natural view of the Coal Creek riparian corridor. <br /> $5.00 The richness of the area will be on display as the elements of the park take <br /> ing & Rebop is a La- shape.
