VISION STATEMENT <br />• As stated in Principle CS -6 of the Comprehensive Plan: <br />The City of Louisville shall be seen as, a City that <br />promotes the public and private advancement of the <br />arts and culture strengthening the quality of life and <br />small town character of Louisville by integrating the <br />arts, culture and humanities with community design, <br />economic development, education and other <br />development initiatives. <br />Goals <br />• Identify local arts and cultural facilities, as <br />well as existing programming, available to <br />Louisville residents. <br />• Through extensive public input, identify <br />gaps in facilities, programming and <br />resources within the Louisville arts <br />community. <br />• Assess the economic impact of the arts in <br />its many forms) within Louisville. <br />• Create a data - driven, actionable <br />framework (based on the results of the <br />needs assessment and market analysis <br />and community input) that will guide the <br />development of arts and culture for <br />future generations. <br />4 <br />2 <br />
