Historic Preservation Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 20, 2014 <br />Page 11 of 12 <br />Trice stated yes, the property owner hired a group out of Lafayette, and any items found <br />will be stored. <br />County Road Bridge <br />Watson asked if any portion of the old bridge was maintained. <br />Robinson stated no, it was destroyed during the flood. <br />Trice stated a meeting before City Council will be held on November 18th to discuss the <br />design ideas. She stated the consultant will be presenting 4 options. She asked the <br />board to attend the meeting if they can. <br />Items from Staff — <br />CLG Grant <br />Stewart asked what the status of the preservation master plan and if they were <br />receiving any state funding. <br />Trice stated the master plan is being funded by the HPF. She stated staff will be <br />applying for CLG funding for the downtown survey. <br />Robinson reminded everyone of the open government training and also reminded the <br />board of the need for reapplication if they need to. <br />Fahey asked about the Saving Places Conference. <br />Robinson stated there should be money in the budget to send those interested to the <br />conference. <br />Fahey asked how the procedure on the budget works and why the board didn't have a <br />chance to discuss it. <br />Robinson stated it was on the August and September meeting. <br />Fahey stated she missed both of those meetings. <br />Stewart asked what the next step is. <br />Robinson stated there will be a discussion this week and then a final decision on <br />November 3rd <br />Items from Commission Members — none heard <br />Discussion Items for Next Meeting — November 17, 2014 <br />None <br />
