City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 3, 2014 <br />Page 17 of 18 <br />Council member Lipton voiced his concern over an internally illuminated sign. He would <br />have preferred for the sign to be backlit, but noted the Planning Commission put <br />conditions on the hours of operation. He favored voting on this resolution this evening. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Dalton felt the sign is keeping in character with the building and favored <br />moving forward with the vote this evening. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO stated he attended the <br />Planning Commission meeting and noted there was a robust discussion on the sign and <br />on the hours of illumination. He stated the neighbors were very comfortable with hours <br />of operation and fully supported this sign. He urged the City Council to go forward with <br />the approval of this sign. <br />MOTION: Council member Keany moved to approve Resolution No. 66, Series 2014, <br />seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. The motion carried by a vote of 6 -1. Council <br />member Stolzmann voted no. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />City Attorney Light informed Council the bonds for the Revitalization Commission closed <br />on October 23� . He advised Council the staff is working on a subdivision and <br />development requirement with a subdivider. Staff will meet tomorrow to discuss such <br />requirements, which may lead to a City Council executive session to provide direction to <br />the staff. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF <br />FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />Mayor Muckle announced a reception would be held in honor of Council member Moss <br />immediately after the adjournment of the meeting. <br />Council member Moss thanked staff and the City Council members. She stated it was a <br />humbling experience to serve on City Council. She thanked her constituents for <br />allowing her to represent them and stated she looked forward to participating in <br />meetings as a public member. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mayor Muckle moved to adjourn, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. All were in <br />favor. The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m. <br />
