City Council Meeting Minutes November 3, 2014 Page 17 of 18 Council member Lipton voiced his concern over an internally illuminated sign. He would have preferred for the sign to be backlit, but noted the Planning Commission put conditions on the hours of operation. He favored voting on this resolution this evening. Mayor Pro Tem Dalton felt the sign is keeping in character with the building and favored moving forward with the vote this evening. PUBLIC COMMENTS Michael Menaker, 1827 W. Choke Cherry Drive, Louisville, CO stated he attended the Planning Commission meeting and noted there was a robust discussion on the sign and on the hours of illumination. He stated the neighbors were very comfortable with hours of operation and fully supported this sign. He urged the City Council to go forward with the approval of this sign. MOTION: Council member Keany moved to approve Resolution No. 66, Series 2014, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. The motion carried by a vote of 6 -1. Council member Stolzmann voted no. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT City Attorney Light informed Council the bonds for the Revitalization Commission closed on October 23� . He advised Council the staff is working on a subdivision and development requirement with a subdivider. Staff will meet tomorrow to discuss such requirements, which may lead to a City Council executive session to provide direction to the staff. COUNCIL COMMENTS, COMMITTEE REPORTS, AND IDENTIFICATION OF FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Mayor Muckle announced a reception would be held in honor of Council member Moss immediately after the adjournment of the meeting. Council member Moss thanked staff and the City Council members. She stated it was a humbling experience to serve on City Council. She thanked her constituents for allowing her to represent them and stated she looked forward to participating in meetings as a public member. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Muckle moved to adjourn, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Dalton. All were in favor. The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
